Dermal fillers or surgery are a way to increase penis size. “I do a lot of dermal fillers simply because many men, understandably, don’t want to go under the knife. Consistent with other nonsurgical procedures which use dermal fillers, male enhancement works by way of injection. Depending on the patient’s goals, a filler is chosen and then injected into the corpus cavernosa of the penis. The filler is then worked through the penis to achieve a uniform increase in length and girth. Dermal fillers are an excellent option for male enhancement because they require no downtime and patients can return to sexual activity the same day. Filler are less of a risk than surgery and, because they are temporary, carry no long-term undesired effects," says Dr. Mirza.
On the flip side, stretching device, the most common type referred to as a penis extender, is a type of penis extension device that exert a stretching force known as penile traction along the length of your penis. The process of using a penis extender is completely hands free and requires you to only strap a comfortable, form fitting device to your penis for a set amount of hours every day. It basically does all the work for you.
Penile girth surgery can involve a range of controversial techniques, such as injecting fat taken from other parts of the body. Whilst some studies claim an increase in girth of between 1.4 and 4cm, patients frequently report scarring, disfigurement, lumpiness, even infection. The body usually reabsorbs the injected fat, so the penis soon returns to its original size.
So how can we be sure it really exists? “Because the number of men seeking surgery, or the growth of this strange industry selling pills and other so-called enlargement remedies, these numbers do not map up with the numbers of men who actually have a significantly smaller penis than average,” Veale says. “So, these men are worrying about – and seeking solutions for – a problem they do not have.”
If you’re interested in how to make your penis bigger, you’re not alone. However, most men that seek penile elongation treatments actually have a normal penile size. If you worry about the size of your penis despite having adequate length, you could suffer from dysmorphophobia disorder (PDD) or small penis anxiety (SPA). Both of these disorders involve men underestimating the size of their penis while overestimating the average penis size for other men. PDD lies within the body dysmorphic disorder spectrum while SPA is an anxiety syndrome that’s pertinent to the genitals .
Before starting penis enlargement exercise, you have to measure your penis both in flaccid state and erect state. Also, you need to keep a logbook to track your gains. While measuring your penis, you need to round down your measurements, this way when you see gain you will not think it is because you didn’t measure correctly. Measure your penis size once a month, if you measure your penis everyday, it will lead to inaccurate results, and it will become harder to motivate yourself.
Sometimes men with erection problems or a diminished libido have low levels of testosterone, Boyle says. Testosterone deficiencies can also affect mood and energy levels. Boyle tests for testosterone levels and prescribes it as a topical gel, though she warns it is only safe when prescribed and monitored by a physician. Nonprescription testosterone, such as the kind used by some bodybuilders, is dangerous, she warns.
The “Rice Sock Technique” is the preferred warm-up of AJ “Big Al” Alfaro, my “Male Enhancement Coach” (i.e., dick enlargement tutor), who explicitly warns me NOT to skip this step. Some guys cut corners because they’re short on time, he explains, but warming up is essential when working out the penis because it prevents injuries and maximizes gains, as with any kind of exercise. I’m hoping to add an extra inch — to go from five and a half inches to six and a half inches, which Big Al assures me can be done in a matter of months so long as I follow his direction. We meet weekly via Skype to discuss my training regimen, and I receive occasional emails reminding me to update my training log. “The most difficult part of my job is getting men to comply with the Journal Progress Log,” he says sternly.
“Operations are very safe,” says Viel, who founded the London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery with his twin brother Maurizio. “Perhaps 95% of our patients are very happy. Where they are not, it is often to do with expectations. Some men want 10 inches when nature gave them four or five. I have to say, gently, ‘This is not possible. I am not a miracle worker.’”
All this might be leading to more than simple image anxiety; some have pointed to a new mental-health issue they term penile dysmorphic disorder. “It is a minority of men – and we don’t know how many – but it certainly exists and it’s as damaging as any other body dysmorphia,” says Professor David Veale, of King’s College London, an authority on health anxieties. “These men might seek out surgery, and for a few months they will be happy with the results. But then the same anxieties reappear. So, they seek out further surgery. It becomes a circle. But you cannot keep making your penis bigger. This requires therapy.”
Another surgical technique known as a dermal implant can increase girth and length. This procedure transplants fat cells from other parts of the body to the penis. As the size of the head of the penis cannot be increased, the results can lead to a penis with an unusual shape. And sometimes the distribution of the grafted cells results in clumping and gives far from smooth results. Many urologists will not perform this type of surgery unless there are good therapeutic reasons.
It's not clear if "Stiff Nights" is a "dietary supplement" as its maker claims, or a bad b-movie title, but in either case the FDA says men looking to "regain the thunder" should stay clear because the pill really contains sulfoaildenafil, an untested chemical similar to the active ingredient in Viagra, which can interact badly with nitrates and cause low blood pressure.
Pumping does give your temporary gains, and those temporary gains can get more and more significant the more you pump. Those temporary gains are a blast to me. I know it’ll “deflate” back to normal in some hours, but it’s a blast while it’s large. it gets addictive, too. You try to chase that huge pump you had a few days ago, but your body just isn’t there sometimes. It’s like working out. Somedays you can run 10 miles and feel great, or your breaking personal lifting records. Somedays you can barely put a dent in your usual routine.
“I hate to say it, but I think Elist is wrong,” counters male sexuality educator Paul Nelson, who wonders if Elist is confused with penis pumps, because Nelson says gains with penile extenders are absolutely permanent. There may be some retraction if you’re using it every day and suddenly stop, but most of it, he promises you’ll retain. Nelson agrees that jelqing could be dangerous, though, particularly for guys who believe that “some is good and more is better” and jelq too hard. “He may finish a jelqing session and think, That was good, let me do it again harder. And a little bit more next time. The next thing he knows, he’s got snapped nerves, torn tunicas and all kinds of devastating injuries.”
Tanya (San Diego, California)—My fiancé’s penis size has always been something of a hush, hush topic for me because, having been with larger men in the past, he’s just over five and a quarter inches long and just under 4 inches around, I missed the intensity of the sex I used to have with larger endowed lovers from the past. I know is size is average, on the smaller side of average. And it’s not that he couldn’t give me an orgasm (sometimes), the thing about Travis (let’s call him that for the sake of this letter) is that he’s very focused and works very hard to please me. He knows what to do with his tongue and fingers and even his penis, but it’s always just been a matter of him working within his means. Before any guys read this and think that I’m just being a selfish bitch, it’s not like that. I never did reveal to Travis that his penis size was a problem for me, and I never ever would have. His feelings are very important to me, so I would have just gone on silently longing for the big hard intensity that I missed from the past.
Chicago urologist Laurence A. Levine, MD, director of the male fertility program at Rush University Medical Center, tested the FastSize Extender on 10 men afflicted with Peyronie's disease, which can cause bending and shrinkage of the penis. At the end of the six-month study, which was funded by the maker of the FastSize Extender, Levine found increased penile length and reduced curvature in every man and increased girth in seven of the men. Calling the results "remarkable," Levine now prescribes the device to many of his Peyronie's patients and reports no significant complications. (Levine has also worked as a paid consultant to FastSize Extender.)
Stretching with weights. Weights or stretching exercises won't bulk up your penis -- it's not a muscle. But hanging weights off your flaccid penis may stretch it a bit, O'Leary says. The catch is that it requires a freakish degree of dedication. "You might have to wear a weight strapped to your penis eight hours a day for six months," says O'Leary. At the end of it, you could be lucky enough to gain about half an inch. Risks include tearing of the tissue, burst blood vessels, and other problems.
